Veterans Day Assembly and Reception

Honoring All Who Served

The Mountain View Student Council honors our military veterans each Veterans Day Holiday with a very well attended assembly at the school. We invite all MVE families whose parents, grandparents or family members are active or retired military service members to join us for a special assembly to honor them for the day. It is about a 45 minutes assembly with speeches, guest speakers, and all things to honor our community, who has a significant military population. 

Immediately following the assembly, the PTA offers a light reception for our service members along with their kiddos, in the cafeteria. We hope you all will join us for light refreshments and drinks before the kiddos go back to class for the rest of the day. Typically the assembly is first thing in the morning. The PTA also partners with the student council to decorate the inside and outside of the school for this very special day.
