Teacher Appreciation

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, May 5-9, 2025

Several times throughout the school year, the PTA works to spoil our teachers and staff through various activities to let them know they are appreciated. This is done throughout the year: organizing potluck luncheons, conference week catered dinners for staff, and quarterly “stock the lounge”. Sign Up Genius are circulated for the community to sign up to bring in items. We also organize and host a “Cookie Exchange” during the holidays for families to donate cookies and bars during the holiday time frame for the teachers and staff to enjoy and sample. Finally, each May during National Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA MAJORLY spoils the teachers and staff all week long. A theme is chosen and we typically hold breakfasts, stock the lounge, a luncheon, a few different goodie bags for all that includes a gift card donated from our MVE families. In the past we have also hosted an over the top raffle for the teachers and staff that are family donated raffle baskets filled with tons of different goodies and treats. Teachers put in free raffle tickets and winners are drawn that week to see who wins each basket.
